The 2023 Delas Châteauneuf-du-Pape Haute Pierre Rouge is a classic Southern Rhône red showing blackberry, dark cherry and ripe plum with garrigue herbs, violet, black pepper and subtle earthy spice.
On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, with fresh acidity, firm yet polished tannins and layers of dark fruit, savoury herbs and spice. The finish is long, dry and persistent, with a fine mineral edge.

At Wine More Cellars, this is an excellent choice for Rhône drinkers seeking a structured Châteauneuf-du-Pape with depth and savoury complexity. Best enjoyed from 2027–2038. Pair with slow-roasted lamb shoulder, beef daube, venison with rosemary or wild mushroom and lentil gratin.
