2024 Neudorf Rosie's Block Moutere Albarino - A shiny star variety in the bright sunshine and cool nights of Nelson, this has the whole gambit of fruits: orange zest, peach and pineapple with a green apple curl and white strawberry fleck. Acidity steadily climbs, bringing the wealth of flavours along for the ride. It's sandy in its fruit flesh texture and yet still slinks along the palate with a satisfying freshness and vitality. This is impossible not to love – detailed, generous and would suit almost anything on the dining table. A hint of radish and white pepper on the finish, too. - 95 points, Shanteh Wale
