The 2023 Fratelli Alessandria Langhe Nebbiolo Prinsiot is sourced from younger Nebbiolo vines in the Verduno vineyards of Sotto Orti, Campasso and Neirane. Named after the family’s historic Piedmontese nickname, Prinsiot is crafted to highlight the elegance, perfume and approachability of Nebbiolo while remaining true to the traditional style that has made Fratelli Alessandria one of Verduno’s most respected producers.
The nose offers red cherry, wild strawberry, rose petal and violet, with hints of orange zest and sweet spice. Medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, the palate combines vibrant red fruit with silky tannins, bright acidity and a mineral-driven finish. Refined and expressive, it delivers the classic character of Nebbiolo in a more youthful and approachable style than Barolo.
