Fratelli Alessandria is one of the most respected family-owned wineries in the Barolo region of Piedmont, Italy. Based in the historic village of Verduno, the estate traces its origins to the early 19th century and has been producing wines under the Alessandria family name since 1870.

Located in one of Barolo’s most distinctive communes, Fratelli Alessandria is renowned for crafting elegant and terroir-driven wines that showcase the finesse and aromatic complexity of Verduno. The estate farms vineyards primarily within Verduno, including prestigious sites such as Monvigliero, San Lorenzo, and other historic cru vineyards, while also producing Barolo from the renowned Gramolere vineyard in Monforte d'Alba.

Fratelli Alessandria is particularly celebrated for its Barolo wines made from 100% Nebbiolo. These wines typically display aromas of red cherry, rose petals, violet, spice, tar, and earthy mineral notes, supported by refined tannins, vibrant acidity, and exceptional aging potential. The estate is also known for producing traditional Piedmont varieties including Pelaverga, Barbera d'Alba, Dolcetto, and Langhe Nebbiolo, highlighting the rich viticultural heritage of the region.
