The 2023 Delas Saint-Joseph Sainte Épine is a refined Northern Rhône Syrah showing blackberry, dark cherry and plum with violet, cracked pepper, dried herbs and subtle earthy spice.
On the palate, it is concentrated yet finely structured, with vibrant acidity, firm tannins and layers of dark fruit, pepper and savoury mineral character. The finish is long, dry and persistent, with excellent potential for further bottle development.

At Wine More Cellars, this is an excellent choice for Syrah drinkers seeking a structured, site-focused Saint-Joseph with depth and savoury complexity. Best enjoyed from 2027–2038. Pair with roast venison, lamb shoulder with rosemary, beef fillet with mushroom jus or wild mushroom and lentil gratin.
