The 2023 Bindi Dhillon Col Mountain Grenache is a vibrant and distinctive Grenache from the rocky, steep Col Mountain vineyard in central Heathcote, Victoria. Michael Dhillon approaches Grenache much like Pinot Noir, harvesting for freshness and finesse rather than maximum ripeness and using wild yeast with gentle handling in the winery. The 2023 is particularly aromatic, opening with pomegranate, rhubarb and raspberry alongside lifted floral notes and subtle savoury complexity.
