The 2024 Vieux Télégraphe / Domaine Les Pallières “Au Petit Bonheur” Rosé is a distinctive and refined Rhône Valley rosé, crafted from Grenache, Cinsault and Clairette, and uniquely fermented and aged in large oak barrels for added texture and complexity. It shows a pale, almost vin gris style, but with surprising depth and character. The nose is aromatic and layered, with orange blossom, citrus, peach and red berries, alongside hints of dried herbs and saline minerality.
On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied with a smooth, textured feel. Orchard fruit, almond and subtle spice are balanced by freshness, leading to a long, clean and slightly savoury finish.
Ben’s Recommendation:
A premium Rhône rosé with more texture and complexity than typical Provence styles. Perfect for customers who want a food-friendly rosé with depth. Best served lightly chilled. Ideal with grilled chicken, lamb, Mediterranean dishes or as a sophisticated aperitif.
