The 2024 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Monthélie 1er Cru Clos des Champs Fulliot Rouge is an exciting new addition to the PYCM portfolio and the domaine’s first vintage from this Premier Cru site. The parcel was previously held by Bouchard Père & Fils and joined PYCM in 2024. The cuvée comes from four different periods of planting, with vines ranging from approximately 30 to 70 years old, providing both old-vine depth and freshness.
The 2024 shows deeper colour than the other reds in the Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey and Caroline Morey range, with raspberry-led aromas complemented by subtle nutty and savoury nuances. The palate has impressive body and beautifully ripe fruit, building steadily in concentration towards a persistent finish. Jasper Morris MW rated the wine 89–90 points and suggested a drinking window from 2028 to 2032.

At Wine More Cellars, this is a particularly interesting bottle for PYCM collectors, being the inaugural vintage of Clos des Champs Fulliot from the domaine. It offers more depth and fruit concentration than many traditional Monthélie reds while retaining the freshness and finesse expected from Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey. With mature vines and a quality Premier Cru terroir, the 2024 represents an exciting new chapter in PYCM’s expanding red Burgundy collection. Drink from 2028 onwards or cellar for 8–12+ years. Perfect with duck, roast chicken, pork, quail and wild mushroom dishes.
