The 2024 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey La Boudriotte Rouge is a rare Premier Cru Pinot Noir from Chassagne-Montrachet and only the second vintage of this cuvée from PYCM. It comes from two parcels, one around 80 years old and another around 40 years old, bringing together old-vine concentration with the domaine’s characteristic precision. The wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir, with approximately 50% whole-bunch fermentation.
The 2024 is richly fruited yet refined, showing raspberry, dark cherry and wild red berries alongside floral, spice and subtle earthy notes. The palate is silky and concentrated, with moderate tannins and fresh, mineral-driven acidity providing excellent balance and energy. Compared with PYCM’s Clos St Jean Rouge, La Boudriotte shows a slightly richer and more generous personality while retaining impressive freshness and finesse.

At Wine More Cellars, La Boudriotte is an exciting addition to the tiny production of red Burgundy from Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey. The combination of old vines, 50% whole bunches and the excellent 2024 vintage gives this wine both immediate aromatic appeal and serious structure for ageing. A particularly compelling bottle for PYCM collectors looking beyond the domaine’s famous whites. Drink from 2029 onwards or cellar for 10–15+ years. Perfect with duck, roast pigeon, lamb, game birds and wild mushroom dishes.
