The 2024 Dal Zotto Nebbiolo is a fragrant King Valley red made from fruit grown at the family’s Cheshunt vineyard. Bright crimson in colour, it shows cherry and raspberry with rose petals, alpine florals, sweet spice and subtle leather. The Cheshunt site sits around 300–400 metres elevation, with cool-climate conditions helping Nebbiolo retain freshness and aromatic detail.
On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied with lively acidity, supple tannins and juicy red berry fruit. Cherry and raspberry are joined by gentle spice and mountain-herb notes, while 10 months in French oak—mostly older barrels—adds subtle texture without overwhelming the fruit. The finish is fresh, savoury and finely structured.
Ben’s Recommendation:
At Wine More Cellars, this is a great choice for Nebbiolo drinkers who enjoy fragrant, medium-weight reds with bright acidity and approachable tannins. Enjoy now or cellar for around another five years. Pair with mushroom risotto, truffle pasta, slow-cooked beef, roast lamb or aged cheeses.
