The 2023 Bindi Block 5 Pinot Noir is a highly refined single-vineyard Pinot Noir from Bindi in Victoria’s Macedon Ranges. Block 5 is the estate’s flagship vineyard, a tiny half-hectare site planted in 1992 to MV6 Pinot Noir on a sheltered, north-facing slope with exceptionally quartz-rich soils. The vineyard typically produces a darker, spicier and more structured expression of Pinot Noir, with production limited to only around 150–200 dozen bottles per vintage.
