The 2022 La Réserve de Léoville Barton is the second wine of Château Léoville Barton from Saint-Julien, Bordeaux, made from 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc. The nose is expressive with cassis, blackberry, black cherry and ripe plum, layered with violet, fine oak, liquorice and subtle spice.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied with juicy fruit, fresh acidity and ripe, finely structured tannins. Dark berries and black cherry are complemented by gentle oak and savoury notes, creating an elegant, rounded texture with a fresh and persistent finish.
