CHATEAU LEOVILLE BARTON

Château Léoville Barton is one of the great historic estates of Saint-Julien, renowned for producing structured, elegant and exceptionally age-worthy Left Bank Bordeaux. Cabernet Sauvignon provides cassis, graphite, structure and longevity, while Merlot contributes richness and supple fruit. Cabernet Franc adds aromatic lift and additional complexity.

The wines typically display layers of blackcurrant, cassis, blackberry and dark cherry, accompanied by cedar, graphite, tobacco, violet and savoury spice. Léoville Barton is particularly admired for its firm but refined tannin structure and classical proportions. While often structured in youth, the finest vintages develop remarkable harmony and complexity after extended bottle ageing.
