2021 Domaines Schlumberger Riesling Grand Cru Kitterlé is one of the most celebrated Rieslings from Alsace, sourced from the prestigious Kitterlé Grand Cru vineyard near Guebwiller in southern Alsace. Planted on steep terraces with sandstone and volcanic soils, Kitterlé produces Riesling with exceptional intensity, minerality and ageing potential.
The 2021 vintage opens with lifted aromas of lime zest, lemon and white peach, layered with notes of white flowers, citrus peel and smoky minerality. On the palate, vibrant citrus fruit is supported by crisp acidity and a powerful mineral backbone. Hints of grapefruit, wet stone and subtle spice add complexity, leading to a long, precise finish.
