DOMAINES SCHLUMBERGER
Domaines Schlumberger is one of the most historic and prestigious wineries in Alsace, France, with a winemaking tradition dating back to 1810. Located in the village of Guebwiller in southern Alsace, the estate is known for its extensive hillside vineyards and its commitment to producing expressive, terroir-driven wines.
The winery farms over 130 hectares of vineyards, many planted on steep slopes at the foothills of the Vosges Mountains. These sites benefit from excellent sun exposure and diverse soils, creating ideal conditions for Alsace’s classic grape varieties including Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris and Muscat.
Domaines Schlumberger is particularly renowned for its Grand Cru vineyards, such as Kitterlé, Saering, Spiegel and Kessler, which produce some of the most complex and age-worthy wines in Alsace. The wines are known for their intense aromatics, mineral precision and strong expression of terroir.
Today Domaines Schlumberger remains one of the benchmark producers of Alsace wines, combining centuries of tradition with modern vineyard management and careful winemaking.
