The 2023 Yangarra Old Vine Grenache Magnum (1500ml) is a refined McLaren Vale Grenache from unirrigated bush vines planted in 1946. The nose is fragrant and lifted, showing raspberry, cranberry and cherry with rosehip, dried orange peel and subtle savoury herbs.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied and energetic, with vibrant acidity, fine tannins and layers of fresh red fruit. Wild fermentation and maturation in older French and Austrian oak, ceramic eggs and amphorae add texture while preserving freshness and varietal character.
