The 2023 Yangarra High Sands Grenache Magnum (1500ml) is a single-block McLaren Vale Grenache sourced from dry-grown bush vines planted in 1946. Grown at 210 metres on deep weathered sands, the cooler 2023 vintage produced a particularly fragrant expression, showing red cherry, raspberry and floral notes with spice, orange peel and savoury mineral detail.
On the palate, it is finely structured and energetic, with vibrant acidity, concentrated red fruit and firm, powdery tannins carrying through a long mineral finish. The 2023 High Sands has the freshness and structure to develop considerably with bottle age.

At Wine More Cellars, this is an excellent choice for collectors seeking one of Yangarra’s benchmark old-vine Grenache wines. The 1.5L magnum format is well suited to extended cellaring. Ideal with roast lamb, duck, chargrilled pork or mushroom-based dishes.
