The Champagne Laherte Frères Ultradition NV (Base 2022, Disgorged July 2025) is a beautifully expressive and finely textured grower Champagne from one of the Marne Valley’s most respected biodynamic producers. Blending Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir from organically farmed vineyards across Chavot and surrounding villages, the wine reflects Laherte Frères’ low-intervention philosophy and emphasis on freshness, balance and terroir expression. The nose reveals lemon zest, ripe pear and yellow apple layered alongside white flowers, brioche and subtle chalky minerality, giving the wine impressive depth and lift.
On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied with fine mousse, vibrant natural acidity and a gently savoury mineral core. Layers of citrus, orchard fruit and delicate lees complexity are balanced by saline freshness and soft textural richness, finishing dry, energetic and beautifully persistent with excellent finesse and drinkability. The warm 2022 base vintage brings generosity and ripeness while retaining freshness and precision.
