Produced from old-vine Chardonnay grown in the chalk-heavy parcels of Les Champboutons in Avize and Les Bionnes in Cramant, the wine reflects Pascal Agrapart’s meticulous terroir-focused approach, combining extended lees ageing, low dosage and restrained élevage to emphasise saline precision and vineyard character.
On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied with exceptionally fine mousse, vibrant natural acidity and an intensely chalky mineral core. Layers of lemon zest, yellow apple and orchard fruit are balanced by toasted almond, brioche and saline complexity, finishing long, focused and beautifully persistent with remarkable tension and ageing potential.
