The 2024 Portsea Estate Portsea Vineyard Pinot Noir is a distinctive cool-climate red from the southern tip of Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, grown on the estate’s original vineyard overlooking Bass Strait. The nose shows fresh raspberry, red cherry and cranberry, layered with rose petal, savoury herbs, stone and subtle earthy notes.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied with bright acidity and fine, graceful tannins, combining vibrant red fruit with savoury, mineral and herbal complexity. The limestone-rich, calcareous soils of the Portsea Vineyard contribute to its distinctive character, while the finish is focused, structured and impressively persistent.
