Charlish & Co is a boutique South Australian wine label founded by award-winning chef Rebecca Stubbs in collaboration with her partner, Master of Wine Duane Coates. Established in 2021, the winery brings together Rebecca's lifelong passion for exceptional food and Duane's internationally recognised winemaking expertise to produce small-batch wines that are made to be enjoyed both at the table and on their own.

Based in the Adelaide Hills, Charlish & Co works with a small group of trusted growers across premium South Australian vineyards, carefully selecting fruit that best expresses each site's character. Rather than owning large vineyard holdings, the winery focuses on sourcing exceptional parcels from regions including Adelaide Hills and other leading South Australian appellations, allowing every wine to showcase freshness, balance, and regional identity.

The range includes elegant Pinot Noir, Shiraz Viognier, Viognier, Rosso, Tinto, and a selection of limited seasonal releases. Fermented with wild yeasts and produced using minimal-intervention techniques, the wines emphasise texture, purity, and drinkability over excessive extraction or oak influence. The resulting styles are modern yet unmistakably influenced by Old World traditions, offering bright fruit, savoury complexity, and impressive versatility with food.

Sustainability is central to the Charlish & Co philosophy. The winery prioritises locally produced glass and packaging, reduces transport wherever possible by carrying out processing, bottling, and storage on site, and repurposes materials to minimise waste. Every aspect of production reflects the team's commitment to reducing environmental impact while maintaining exceptional wine quality.

Duane Coates MW brings decades of international experience, having worked vintages in Burgundy, the Rhône Valley, and Portugal before becoming one of Australia's few Masters of Wine. Rebecca Stubbs' distinguished culinary career across Australia and Asia shapes the winery's food-first philosophy, ensuring every wine is crafted with balance, texture, and gastronomic appeal in mind. Together, they have created one of Australia's most exciting new boutique wine labels.
