Domaine William Fevre Les Preuses is a wine with exceptional aging potential, thanks to its dense clay soils over limestone. The clay helps retain moisture, providing consistent hydration for the vines, while the limestone enhances drainage and temperature regulation, allowing the grapes to develop complex, concentrated flavors. A light touch in the cellar and careful use of old French oak allow the vineyard’s character to shine through, resulting in a round, elegant, and intensely mineral wine. This wine comes from two sections of vines, one near Vincent Dauvissat’s plot on the flatter, southern-facing part of Les Preuses.
