2023 Murdoch Hill Apollo Pinot Noir is the flagship Pinot Noir from Murdoch Hill’s Lenswood vineyard in the Adelaide Hills. Crafted from mature vines with partial whole-bunch fermentation and French oak maturation, it reveals layered aromas of raspberry, wild strawberry and dark cherry, complemented by earthy forest-floor notes and subtle brown spice. Medium-bodied yet intense, the wine shows vibrant acidity, fine tannins and a long, mineral-tinged finish that reflects the cool 2023 vintage. Elegant and structured, it’s a benchmark Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir with excellent cellaring potential.
