The Domaine Chermette Crémant de Bourgogne Brut NV is an elegant 100% Chardonnay sparkling wine made using the traditional method. The Chardonnay comes from approximately 35-year-old vines planted on clay-limestone soils in southern Beaujolais. A blend of three vintages brings balance and complexity, with aromas of white flowers, peach and pear leading into fresh citrus notes.
On the palate, it is crisp and refined, with fine, persistent bubbles, bright citrus fruit and a fresh mineral character. The base wine is slowly fermented in stainless steel before secondary fermentation in bottle, with extended ageing on lees adding texture and subtle complexity. A low dosage keeps the finish lively and dry.
