Anne Gros et Jean-Paul Tollot Les Combettes is a distinctive Côtes du Brian red made from 100% Marselan, a crossing of Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache. The nose shows cassis, raspberry, blackberry and plum with cocoa, spice, liquorice and smoky notes.
On the palate, it is rich and concentrated with supple tannins, generous dark fruit and a long, savoury finish. The grapes are hand harvested and fully destemmed before the wine is matured entirely in oak barrels.
