Anne Gros et Jean-Paul Tollot L’Enclos is a 100% Pinot Noir from the Côtes du Brian IGP in the Languedoc, grown on clay-limestone soils near Cazelles. The nose shows ripe cherry, raspberry and darker berries with fine spice and Mediterranean herbs.
On the palate, it is generous yet fresh with silky tannins, mineral lift and a long savoury finish. The fruit is fully destemmed and fermented with indigenous yeasts before ageing in French oak, giving the wine a refined Burgundian influence.
Ben’s Recommendation:
At Wine More Cellars, this is a great choice for Pinot Noir drinkers who enjoy ripe fruit, silky tannins and savoury complexity. Enjoy it now or cellar for 5–10 years. Ideal with grilled lamb, roast duck, mushrooms or grilled vegetables.
