The 2025 Tyrrell’s Estate Grown Chardonnay is a modern Hunter Valley Chardonnay made entirely from dry-grown blocks of the HVD Vineyard, planted in 1984 and 2003. The nose shows white peach, nectarine and citrus with subtle cashew, spice and gentle oak notes, combining ripe fruit with freshness and finesse.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied with bright acidity and a gently creamy texture. Stone fruit and citrus flavours are supported by subtle nutty and oak characters, leading to a long, fresh and focused finish.
Ben’s Recommendation:
At Wine More Cellars, this is an excellent choice for Chardonnay drinkers who enjoy generous fruit balanced by fresh acidity and restrained oak. Enjoy now or cellar over the next 4–5 years. Ideal with roast chicken, grilled fish, scallops, creamy pasta or mushroom dishes.
