The 2021 Tyrrell’s HVD Single Vineyard Semillon is a classic Hunter Valley Semillon sourced from the historic ‘Sign Post’ block of the HVD Vineyard, planted in 1908. The nose is bright and focused, showing lemon and citrus with subtle floral notes and a gentle savoury edge.
On the palate, it is dry and finely structured with concentrated lemon fruit, soft acidity and a smooth, rounded texture. Cool fermentation in stainless steel followed by around six weeks on fine lees preserves freshness while adding subtle texture, leading to a long, clean and elegant finish.

At Wine More Cellars, this is an excellent choice for Semillon drinkers who enjoy classic Hunter Valley whites with citrus freshness, gentle texture and excellent ageing potential. Enjoy with freshly shucked oysters, scallops, grilled white fish, prawns or lightly spiced Asian seafood dishes.
