The 2025 Two Tonne Tasmania TMV Pinot Noir is Ricky Evans’ original regional Pinot Noir and the wine that launched the Two Tonne label. Sourced from multiple sites across the Tamar Valley, including Ricky’s own vineyards and long-term grower partners, it is designed as a snapshot of the region each year. The 2025 vintage included 10% whole bunches and was matured for 11 months in oak, capturing the freshness, perfume and fine structure that define Tamar Valley Pinot Noir.
The nose shows raspberry, wild strawberry, Morello cherry and spice, with subtle herbal and savoury notes. Bright and vibrant on the palate, it combines juicy red fruits with fine chalky tannins, fresh acidity and a gentle mineral edge. Elegant and effortlessly drinkable, it finishes with the strawberry seed-like tannin and freshness that have become hallmarks of the wine.
