The 2025 Pooley Estate Pinot Noir is an expressive cool-climate Tasmanian wine sourced primarily from the Coal River Valley, with a small amount of Tamar Valley fruit adding aromatic lift and softness. It opens with fresh raspberry, wild strawberry and cherry, complemented by violet, dried herbs, cacao and cracked black pepper.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied and persistent, with generous red and dark fruit, bright acidity and fine yet firm tannins. Plum skin, subtle cedar, earthy spice and a gentle gamey character bring savoury complexity, leading to a balanced and lingering finish.
