The 2025 Ossa White Label Pinot Meunier is a vibrant Tasmanian Pinot Meunier sourced from the Strelley Farm vineyard in the Coal River Valley. Crafted by winemaker Liam McElhinney, this small-batch release highlights the variety’s bright fruit profile and natural freshness, offering a lighter, more elegant expression than many traditional red wines. Aromas of raspberry, strawberry and rhubarb are complemented by delicate floral notes and subtle hints of bramble and fresh herbs.
On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied with silky texture and lively acidity driving the wine from start to finish. Flavours of red berries, raspberry and cranberry are layered with touches of rosemary, beetroot leaf and gentle spice. Careful handling in the winery, including gentle extraction and maturation in seasoned large-format French oak, preserves purity and finesse while allowing the fruit to remain the focus. The finish is fresh, bright and persistent, supported by fine chalky tannins and excellent balance.
