The 2024 Joh. Jos. Prüm Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese is a finely structured Mosel Riesling from the steep, slate-rich Zeltinger Sonnenuhr vineyard. The nose shows ripe apricot, yellow plum and citrus peel, supported by subtle herbal notes, wet stone and characteristic slate minerality.
On the palate, it is light-bodied with gentle sweetness balanced by bright, precise acidity. Juicy stone fruit and citrus flavours are carried by a sleek texture and pronounced mineral character, leading to a long, fresh and lightly saline finish.

At Wine More Cellars, this is an excellent choice for Riesling drinkers who enjoy the balance of ripe fruit, sweetness and refreshing acidity found in classic Mosel Spätlese. Delicious now but capable of developing further complexity with careful cellaring over many years. Ideal with roast duck, crispy pork belly, glazed salmon, aromatic Asian dishes or soft cheeses.
