The 2024 Joh. Jos. Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese is an elegant and highly expressive Mosel Riesling from the exceptionally steep, slate-rich Wehlener Sonnenuhr vineyard. The 2024 offers grapefruit, tangerine and bergamot, layered with white peach, honeysuckle, fresh herbs and cool slate notes. At just 8% alcohol, it delivers impressive intensity while remaining beautifully light and refined.
On the palate, it is succulent and silky, with natural Spätlese sweetness balanced by vibrant acidity and a pronounced saline, mineral character. Citrus and orchard fruit carry through the long, mouthwatering finish. The wine received 96 points from Vinous and 95 points from both Wine Advocate and James Suckling.

At Wine More Cellars, this is an outstanding choice for Riesling lovers seeking the classic combination of delicate sweetness, vibrant acidity and Mosel slate minerality. Beautiful now, but with exceptional ageing potential through around 2065. Ideal with spicy Thai dishes, pork belly, sashimi, grilled prawns, roast duck or soft cheeses.
