The 2024 Joh. Jos. Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett is an elegant Mosel Riesling from the exceptionally steep, slate-rich Wehlener Sonnenuhr vineyard. The 2024 offers green apple, white peach, mandarin and pale citrus, complemented by honeysuckle, fresh herbs and distinctive wet-slate minerality. At just 8.5% alcohol, it combines remarkable delicacy with impressive flavour intensity.
On the palate, it is light, juicy and off-dry, with gentle sweetness beautifully balanced by elegant acidity and a persistent mineral backbone. Citrus zest and mandarin carry through the long, refreshing finish. The wine received 94 points from Vinous and 94 points from James Suckling.

At Wine More Cellars, this is an outstanding Kabinett for Riesling lovers seeking finesse, freshness and classic Mosel slate character. Delicious young, but with excellent ageing potential through around 2050. Ideal with sushi, spicy Thai dishes, pork belly, grilled prawns, roast chicken or soft cheeses.
