The 2024 Joh. Jos. Prüm Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Auslese Goldkapsel Half Bottle (375ml) is a rare, concentrated Mosel Riesling from the blue-slate slopes of Graacher Himmelreich. More than half of the fruit was botrytis affected, bringing richness and intensity, with notes of ripe peach, orange zest, lilac and herbs layered over distinctive slate minerality.
On the palate, it is sweet and creamy yet beautifully fresh, with vibrant acidity, saline minerality and remarkable precision balancing the concentrated fruit. At just 8% alcohol, it retains classic Mosel lightness despite its richness. The 2024 received 97 points from Vinous and 96 points from both James Suckling and Wine Advocate.

At Wine More Cellars, this 375ml half-bottle is an exceptional collector’s Riesling, combining Goldkapsel concentration with freshness and finesse. It can be enjoyed young but has the structure for several decades of cellaring. Ideal with spicy Asian dishes, roast pork, pâté, rich poultry dishes or mature cheeses.
