The 2024 Idda Bianco Sicilia DOP is a striking collaboration between the legendary Gaja family and Etna pioneer Alberto Graci, showcasing the remarkable potential of 100% Carricante from the southern slopes of Mount Etna. Sourced from high-altitude vineyards between 600 and 800 metres, the wine is fermented primarily in stainless steel, with a small portion aged in large oak casks before six to nine months of maturation. The nose is beautifully aromatic, revealing citrus blossom, lemon zest and apricot layered with Mediterranean herbs, anise and distinctive volcanic minerality.
