The 2024 Giant Steps Yarra Valley Chardonnay is a beautifully balanced cool-climate Chardonnay from Victoria’s Yarra Valley, combining fruit from vineyards across both the Upper and Lower Yarra, with approximately 50% sourced from the cooler Upper Yarra ranges. The 2024 season was a more classic Yarra vintage, beginning with a cool spring before warmer and drier conditions arrived in February, resulting in a compressed harvest with excellent flavour development, bright natural acidity and balance. By drawing fruit from different elevations and subregions, Giant Steps creates a regional Chardonnay that captures both the generosity of the lower valley and the freshness and precision associated with the Upper Yarra.
