The 2024 Arnot-Roberts Watson Ranch Chardonnay is a refined cool-climate Chardonnay from the organically farmed Watson Ranch Vineyard at the southern end of Napa Valley, overlooking San Pablo Bay. Planted on rare calcareous clay over limestone soils and shaped by cool, windy conditions, the vineyard produces a Chardonnay of exceptional freshness and mineral precision. Matured for 10 months in neutral French oak, the wine opens with aromas of white pear, lemon zest, jasmine, chamomile and crushed stone, with subtle savoury notes adding depth.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied with a finely textured, creamy mouthfeel balanced by vibrant natural acidity.
