Napa Valley is one of the most famous and prestigious wine regions in the world, located in California, USA. Known for its exceptional quality and global reputation, Napa Valley has become a benchmark for premium New World wines, particularly Cabernet Sauvignon.
Situated north of San Francisco, Napa Valley benefits from a unique combination of Mediterranean climate, diverse soils and varied microclimates. Warm days and cool nights—often influenced by fog rolling in from the Pacific Ocean—allow grapes to ripen slowly while retaining freshness and balance.
The region is best known for Cabernet Sauvignon, producing wines that are rich, powerful and age-worthy, with flavours of blackcurrant, blackberry, plum, cedar and spice, supported by firm tannins and structured acidity.
