The 2023 Savigny-lès-Beaune La Dominode 1er Cru has more lift and perfume compared to the Clos des Guettes, with finely delineated red cherries, strawberries and rooibos. The palate is balanced and structured with a bit of sinew on the opening, a powdery texture and conspicuous bell pepper notes toward the finish. Drink over four to six years.
