The 2023 Dominus Estate is a distinguished Bordeaux-style red from the historic Napanook Vineyard in Yountville, Napa Valley, made from 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot. The nose is deep and complex with wild berries and cassis, layered with cedar, oriental spice, cocoa, graphite and subtle floral notes.
On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with concentrated dark fruit, impressive freshness and exceptionally fine, polished tannins. Matured for 20 months in French oak, including 40% new barrels, it combines richness and depth with mineral and savoury complexity, leading to a finely etched, persistent finish.
