The 2022 Schloss Lieser Niederberg Helden Riesling Feinherb is an elegant off-dry Riesling from the Mosel’s renowned Niederberg Helden vineyard. Crafted by Thomas Haag from vines rooted in steep slate soils, it shows green plum, citrus and orchard fruit alongside expressive herbs, ginger and distinctive slate-driven mineral notes.
On the palate, it is finely balanced and energetic, with vibrant acidity keeping the gentle residual sweetness fresh and precise. Juicy plum and grapefruit are complemented by savoury herbs, spice and a pronounced salty mineral character. Despite being feinherb, the wine finishes remarkably dry and focused, with excellent length and complexity.

At Wine More Cellars, this is an excellent choice for Riesling drinkers who enjoy a touch of sweetness balanced by vibrant acidity and pronounced Mosel minerality.
