The 2022 Follin-Arbelet Aloxe-Corton Premier Cru Clos du Chapitre is a 100% Pinot Noir from a historic walled vineyard in Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune. Its stony clay-limestone soils produce a structured expression, with ripe cherry and darker berry fruit alongside earthy, herbal and subtle mineral notes.
On the palate, it is concentrated and savoury, with fresh acidity and firm, fine tannins supporting the ripe fruit. Hand-harvested grapes are fully destemmed and naturally fermented in open wooden vats before a slow maturation in oak, then bottled unfined and unfiltered.
