A challenging vintage in the region that has turned out an altogether lovely wine with pretty florals, sparkly red fruits, and a little woodsy spice. There's definitely a little grunt here, but the chalk soils of Roero keep anything heavy or weighty well away from the delivery. Silky fruits, but with a nice little bite to it this year. Not the richest from Correggia at this level, but certainly not the lightest, yet it hits all the right notes.
