A blend of 97% shiraz and 3% mataro, predominantly from Greenock (85%) with the balance from Gomersal. Plummy and spicy with some nice crunchy blueberry and cranberry tones coming into play. Spicy too with hints of chocolate, earth, jasmine, mocha, olive tapenade and star anise. Fine, compact tannins make their presence felt on the palate, bright acidity pushing things along nicely, finishing long with a blast of blueberry and spice.
