Rich in spice, with olive tapenade, ripe dark fruits, and a hint of tobacco leaf. On entry, the palate is firm, yet soft with an underlying suppleness. Densley fruited with rich plum and dark berry flavours, and an integrated spicy line of oak.
The Single Vineyard The Farm Cabernet Malbec comes from 1997 planted Cabernet Sauvignon and 1998 planted Malbec at our Lodge Hill Property on the Eastern Ranges of the Clare Valley. This is a nod to the wines Jim Barry was making in the 60’s and 70’s where Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec were often blended.
