Fallen Giants Cabernet Sauvignon from Grampians is a standout example of cool-climate Australian Cabernet. Sourced from a single vineyard planted in 1969 on elevated, east-facing slopes, the wine reflects the region’s ability to produce structured, elegant and age-worthy reds.
The nose shows classic Cabernet aromatics of blackcurrant, plum and dark cherry, layered with mint, eucalyptus, spice and subtle oak. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and finely structured, with firm yet polished tannins, fresh acidity and a savoury backbone. Expect flavours of cassis, blackberry and a touch of graphite, finishing long and balanced.
