The 2021 Cavedon Prosecco Col Fondo is a distinctive Italian-style sparkling wine showing green apple, pear and citrus with white flowers, fresh herbs and subtle savoury notes.
On the palate, it is lively and dry, with bright acidity, fine natural bubbles and flavours of crisp orchard fruit, lemon and gentle savoury character. The finish is fresh, lightly mineral and persistent.
Ben’s Recommendation:
At Wine More Cellars, this is a great choice for sparkling wine drinkers who enjoy a more textured, traditional style with fresh fruit and savoury detail. Best enjoyed young and well chilled. Pair with fritto misto, oysters, prosciutto and melon, mushroom arancini or grilled zucchini with ricotta.
