The 2019 Gabin & Félix Richoux Irancy Les Cailles is a superb single-vineyard Pinot Noir from one of Irancy’s finest biodynamically farmed sites. The Richoux family has long been regarded as a benchmark producer in this historic northern Burgundy appellation, and Les Cailles represents one of their most sought-after cuvées. Grown on Kimmeridgian limestone soils and produced using biodynamic principles, the wine combines concentration, elegance and a strong sense of place. The excellent 2019 vintage has delivered exceptional depth while retaining freshness and balance.
The nose reveals red cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry alongside notes of rose petal, spice and subtle earthy complexity. The palate is silky yet structured, with vibrant red fruit supported by fine tannins and bright acidity. Hints of truffle, crushed stone and forest floor add depth and character, while the finish is long, savoury and beautifully refined.

A serious and age-worthy Burgundy that showcases the quality of both Irancy and biodynamic viticulture.
