The 2019 Gabin & Félix Richoux Irancy is a benchmark Pinot Noir from one of the most respected estates in this underrated corner of Burgundy. The excellent 2019 vintage delivered exceptional fruit concentration while preserving the elegance and vibrancy for which the Richoux family is renowned.
The nose reveals red cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry alongside notes of rose petal, sweet spice and subtle forest floor. The palate is silky and refined, with vibrant red berry fruit supported by fine tannins and bright acidity. Hints of truffle, crushed stone and earthy savoury notes add complexity, leading to a long, balanced finish with classic Burgundian character.

A superb value Burgundy that beautifully showcases the charm of Pinot Noir. Elegant, savoury and highly food-friendly, it pairs wonderfully with duck, roast chicken, pork dishes and mushroom-based cuisine. Enjoy now with a short decant, or cellar through 2035 as it develops greater earthy and truffle-like complexity.
